Thirty, Flirty, and Thriving

Watching 13 going on 30… Totally fits this post lol. Anyway, I can’t believe I will be 30 this year. The number just keeps replying in my head. You think “hey its just a number” but to me it’s more than that. It’s a mile stone. But it’s also the end of an era for me… During my mid 20’s I had created a list of things that I wanted to accomplished before I turned 30 and well I still haven’t reached and accomplished all my goals. BUT I did get married, bought a home, got a puppy and started blogging among other things. The point of this post wasn’t about what I had done but what I want to accomplish in my 30’s.

One thing you should know about me is that I am constantly working on being consistent it is so easy for me to get side track and not stay on course. So the first thing is I want to improve on is… consistency. By being consistent I think I will stay more organized. Trust me people, I am not as organized as I appear. (just ask my husband lol)

For my second goal I would like take a ballroom class! Yup!!! Ballroom maybe get so good I compete professionally and come home with a trophy. Just kidding! I personally think Im an okay dancer but hey why not give it a shot. Besides I think it will be fun, maybe then I can get my husband to take dance lessons with me since we didn’t do it for our wedding.

Third goal is to be more out spoken. Just a few weeks ago someone shushed me and to me I find it so rude, and disrespectful but I didn’t do anything about it. Yet weeks later I can’t seem to get it out of my head. The reason why is because I didn’t speak up. (SPEAK UP LAURA!!! )

Save!!! I use to be so good at saving and then I lost sight of that. It’s always good to get things but it’s better when you can do something pretty awesome with the money you save.

One of my main goals is to get my degree! I might be a little behind on that but I started and I want to finish it. I am only 6 classes away!!! I don’t know if I want to do anything with accounting but it’s always good to have a back up plan even if you don’t use it.

Lastly one of my main goals is to become a more positive person. The type of person that when you are having a bad day you know you can count of me, my instagram or my blog to change that. Blogging has made a difference for me and if this is where it would end I would be okay with that but if I can help one other person it will make it so rewarding for me.

So tell me in the comments below what are your goals for this year, I would love to know.

Xo, L.
