I can not tell you how much I needed a vacation. Usually I go on vacation and it feels like “oh nice time off work” but this time I counted down the hours, the minutes and the seconds for me to get away from work for 10 days!!! Mind you the last two days I was ready to go back to my normal life (instant regret). Here is a little recap up of where we stayed.

We stayed at Pueblo Bonito Sunset in Cabo San Lucas. This resort is honestly the best… here is why. If you don’t follow me on Instagram you probably should, because my morning views were unbelievable.

  • Every room had an ocean view, waking up to the waives and watching the boats take off every morning was beyond beautiful.
  • The staff is extremely nice and incredibly serviceable. They never let me have an empty drink in my hand (which is amazing). If you are going to Pueblo Bonito I can tell you who my favorite bartenders were so you can make new friends. (Surprisingly one of them remembered me from the year before)
  • The spa experience was more that I could have asked for. Note to self always ask for Dulce.

Pueblo Bonito has two additional hotels in Cabo San Lucas. The Pueblo Bonito Rose’ and Pueblo Bonito Blanco. The Rose’ will always have a special place in my heart because that’s were Jeff and I stayed at for our honeymoon. Also no complaints there, except I do think our room was haunted. We will talk about that in my stories.

One of the days we ended up taking the complimentary shuttle to Pueblo Bonito Rose’ and had lunch near the beach and next to the pool. Seriously getting the best of both worlds and the next day we took the shuttle to Pueblo Bonito Blanco for dinner. Regretting not taking a picture of my food because it was delicious. But the view for dinner was more than enough.

My amazing mother in law surprised me with a spa day. I nearly cried because one of the few things I wanted to do while I was on vacation is get a massage. Let me tell you, it was amazing. Words can not express how good it was.

We decided to get bracelets to remember the experience! ❤

Since this trip was with family I decided to not be on my phone as much and I am so happy I did that. I spent quality time with my family and my husband and it was totally worth it.

I seriously can’t wait to go back. Every time we go it feels like it’s an escape from reality. Cabo has such beautiful views, everyone is in a great mood, and we all made so many good memories.

Can’t wait for the next trip!

Leave a comment below of any future trips your taking.

XO, L.
