5 Tips To Cope With The Fear of Flying

Let me start by saying, I would love to travel the world one day. I have a list a mile long of places where I would love to go. I was just a baby (maybe 2 years old) when I first got on an airplane obviously I don’t remember that experience. However, I was 18 years old the first time I flew by myself. I went to my families country in El Salvador. It was a 5-6 hour flight. Luckily it was a red eye so I mostly slept and I don’t remember much about my travels. Since then I have flown alone, with friends, family members and my husband and no matter what I always get the worst anxiety the day before and during my flight. So here are my 5 tips to cope with the fear of flying.

The Struggle of Body Image

Something I have been struggling with the last few months is body image. It is so easy to fall in the trap of social media. Do to blogging you’ll find me on social media a lot. Engaging with other people, replying to comments and messages. That’s usually the time when I see what most people would call “instagram models”. I see how slim and healthy these girls look. That’s when the comparison game kicks in, and this is when yourself talk becomes important.

Things to do While Stuck Inside

How’s everyone’s social distancing going? I know that a lot of you are going through your own struggles of self distancing. But I am hoping that this blog post can lead you to a more positive outlook. I fortunately still get to work. However, I do not like the idea of being expose to this crazy virus. Even though I am working I often get sent home from work early since things have been so slow around the office. While being home I catch myself being bored. Personally, I always have to have something to do. So I decided to make a change to keep myself busy.

Vacay

I can not tell you how much I needed a vacation. Usually I go on vacation and it feels like “oh nice time off work” but this time I counted down the hours, the minutes and the seconds for me to get away from work for 10 days!!! Mind you the last two days I was ready to go back to my normal life (instant regret). Here is a little recap up of where we stayed.
