How to stay productive

It is so easy to get wrapped up on your day to day life, or the holiday season. It’s also very easy to get lazy. I personally have been in a slump lately and I realized I was not completing my day to day task as I should. I decided to make a change and here are some things I have used to keep me accountable for a better productive day.

Daily To Do List

A daily to do list will help you categorized which items need to be done right away and not just rely on your memory. I use to use my iPad as a daily planner but the hassle of turning it on and checking my list was harder than putting pen to paper. I am currently using a daily to do list I found on amazon (Click Here).

Monthly Calendar

Monthly Calendars are great to get big picture plans on your agenda. Such as birthdays, dinner dates, vacations and any other event. I generally used my iPad as a monthly calendar because it helps us keep track of what’s coming in the future weeks. Plus it is easy to erase if plans get cancelled. (Click Here)

Monthly goals

Depending on your monthly goals, it will determine how motivated you will stay to reach all your goals each week. When setting goals I like to break it down by week. So I know how much I need to accomplish at the end of every week but also if I slack off it gives me the opportunity to know how much I need to make up to make sure I reach my goal.

Limited Screen Time

I realized that I was spending way to much time on social media. I would go down the endless spiral of scrolling. They say that the healthy amount of time behind a screen besides work is about 2 hours or less. I changed the settings on my phone and create app limits, which mostly included Instagram and Tiktok.

I have listed here the items I have used this year to stay on top of things. I use it in for both aspects of my life, personal and business! I really hope this post helps you stay organized and helps kick of 2022 with a bang!

If you have any other methods on staying organized! Please let me know in the comments below!

5 Tips To Cope With The Fear of Flying

Let me start by saying, I would love to travel the world one day. I have a list a mile long of places where I would love to go. I was just a baby (maybe 2 years old) when I first got on an airplane obviously I don’t remember that experience. However, I was 18 years old the first time I flew by myself. I went to my families country in El Salvador. It was a 5-6 hour flight. Luckily it was a red eye so I mostly slept and I don’t remember much about my travels. Since then I have flown alone, with friends, family members and my husband and no matter what I always get the worst anxiety the day before and during my flight. So here are my 5 tips to cope with the fear of flying.

My Better Half

I don’t get to talk about Jeff on my blog or on stories because he thinks that people will like him more than me. Even though that can possibly be the funny truth he is truly my better half and I wish he would let me share more videos of him to show you guys his quick wit. It’s pretty amazing! We started dating in 2014 and clearly that is not that long especially when we know people that have dated their significant other for over 10 years. However, Jeff and I have an interesting story. We dated in secret for a few months. (More details on a future post) We decided that we wanted to be partners in a business together, and we weren’t even dating. We would go on dates but according to him we weren’t dating. Clearly I had a loose screw for him. We have now been married for two years and they have been the best two years of my life. Here is somethings that we had to work on to keep things interesting in our relationship and what has helped us along the way:

Babes Supporting Babes

Say it with me ladies “I am a strong independent woman, nothing can stop me from doing what I want to do.” It’s amazing to me that there are some hard core boss babes that you can look up to. They ladies can easily help inspire you and show you what they did to overcome all odds to be where they are today. If they can do it, YOU CAN TOO! Having an entrepreneur mindset isn’t easy, but nothing is. However, we need to stick together, we need empower and encourage each other. It cost us nothing to be supportive.
